At Wild Roses, my Cavalier Puppies are home raised, and go to approved homes. My Cavaliers come from Show dogs with many championships however I sell most of my puppies as companions. My Blenheim and Tri - Colored Puppies are Double Registered with both the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Club (CKCSC), and the American Kennel Club (AKC). They come from a long line of healthy dogs with strong hearts.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are happy, outgoing, loving little dogs. They want nothing more than to love you and to be loved by your family. They are affectionate and intelligent with cheerful personalities.

Cavaliers are not kennel dogs. Bred as companions they crave the attention of their humans, almost preferring it to other dogs. All they require is your love and a soft bed to sleep in -- preferably your bed, but they're willing to negotiate that! They get along well with cats, when raised with them, and also other dogs. They LOVE children, as long as they are well behaved and have been taught how to treat dogs.

It’s a good idea to buy a puppy directly from the breeder so you’ll know the health back ground on your puppy. Then you can see the puppy’s mother and possibly the father or other dogs related to the puppy your purchasing. I like to get to know all of my prospective buyers, and I keep a list of people who are interested in a cavalier puppy, what their lifestyle is like and what they're looking for in a puppy. This way I can match them up with a suitable puppy as they become available. Feel free to call and talk with me or arrange a visit to see my dogs. My puppies can be seen any time after they are six weeks old, and they can leave for their new homes at about ten weeks. They have been wormed, vaccinated and come with a Health Certificate from my vet.

Because young Cavalier puppies are so small and trusting, breeders are often reluctant to sell a puppy to a family with children under the age of five. Such families may find that an older puppy or grown dog may be more suitable. Cavalier puppies do not thrive when left all day without human companionship or the company of another animal. They are highly intelligent and require the same consistent love and attention as does a child.
